Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program

The City of Phoenix was allocated $51.1 million to begin the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) 1.0 Program on March 8, 2021, and subsequently received $35 million in ERA 1.0 Reallocated funds in March 2022. To date, all ERA 1.0 Program funds have been disbursed. The US Treasury also allocated the City of Phoenix $55.3 million for ERA 2.0 in May 2021, of which less than 90% remains available. In January 2023, the City received an additional $7 million in ERA 2.0 Reallocated funding, which it expects to fully distribute by this summer.

This dataset provides the weekly expenditures for ERA 1.0 and 2.0 Program funds, including residents and households served. The dataset excludes administrative costs which are 10% for ERA 1.0 and 15% for ERA 2.0. Click here to see a dashboard for this data.
